Australia’s online birth education and coaching programme designed specifically for Christian parents-to-be.

Solid, evidence-based information seen through the lens of Biblical truth, where God is the creator of life and the designer of our bodies and of birth. And his creation is truly amazing!

This is Christian birth prep, not because I think that Christians can’t take “secular” birth ed courses. But because the most profound support we can have is from people whose values and beliefs align with our own.

To take you from:

  • uncertain

  • confused

  • anxious

  • or in full-blown panic

To:

  • calm

  • confident

  • prepared

  • and excited!!

Who is it for?

If you want to understand your body and birth, and learn to be confident as you navigate all your options through pregnancy and birth, Amazing Birth is for you.

If you are 4-32 weeks pregnant and planning to give birth in Australia, Amazing Birth is for you.

I recommend you book in as early in your pregnancy as you can. We talk about how your choices in pregnancy affect your birth, and you will have more options open to you if you work through these things early in your pregnancy. I definitely recommend starting no later than 30-32 weeks, so you have time to complete the programme before your baby arrives. However, the earlier you book, the more you can benefit from the programme content, and from the support which is ongoing throughout the rest of your pregnancy.

What is it?

An 8-week educational and coaching experience with a weekly group call and loads of useful resources, as well as ongoing support via messages or email till after your baby arrives.

Amazing Birth is so much more than your average prenatal class - a 6 hour intensive on a Saturday, 2 hours on Thursday evenings for 4 consecutive weeks, or whatever other variation. You attend, they dump information on you, give you 5mins for Q&A (but your brain is feeling swamped and you struggle to think of anything to ask), and you go home again feeling quite overwhelmed, underprepared, and over the coming weeks you have a million questions that you wish you could have asked.

I wanted to do things differently, and that is why I designed Amazing Birth with what I believe is quite a unique model. We take our time with learning. Not too much time, since pregnancy only lasts 9-10 months after all! But over 8 weeks, we look at everything from…

  • how the choices you make about your pregnancy care affect your options for birth

  • how our bodies are designed to give birth

  • how to prepare physically and mentally for labour and birth

  • common birth interventions and active decision-making

  • preparing your husband or other birth supporter to be the best support they can be

  • preparing for postpartum and life with a newborn

  • and more!

Every week we have a 2 hour session where spend time looking in depth into the week’s topic, and then have time - not just for a 5min Q&A, but time for YOU. Time to workshop the week’s topic and discuss how it applies to your situation.

Each week I provide you with valuable resources for your birth preparation.

And then once the 8 weeks are over, you still have access to me for support via messages or email until after your baby is born! I want you to go into birth feeling not just educated and prepared, but also supported. Because I believe that the support you receive around birth and postpartum makes a massive difference to your ongoing physical and mental health.

Having a positive birth experience in Australia in 2026 requires three things: preparation, education and support.

Amazing Birth provides you with education and support, and helps you set up a routine and goals for the physical and mental birth preparation you need to do (and which nobody else can do for you!).

When does it run?

Currently booking for September 2026.

The live group sessions will be held on 8 consecutive Mondays starting 7 September, from 6-8pm Sydney time. If you are unable to make a session, a replay will be available. However, I strongly encourage live participation where at all possible, since that’s where we maximise the opportunity for learning and transformation.

How do I book?

Email me directly to let me know you would like to book for September (or to have any further questions answered).

I will send you an invoice for payment of the programme investment cost, and once payment is received, your place in the programme is secure. After your booking is confirmed, I will email you with some helpful resources to start looking into while you wait for the programme to start.

How much does it cost?

The full investment price is $880 per couple, with a special price of $800 if you book by 31 July 2026

This entitles you to access to the full 8-week programme including:

  • participation in the live sessions

  • opportunity to work through your own situation with quality feedback from a trained childbirth educator & doula and mum of 3

  • many useful skills, tips and tricks to prepare you for birth, postpartum, and caring for you baby

AND

  • ongoing support via messages or email till your baby is 2 months old, because new mums need to know that they are not on their own. Support during postpartum is the biggest factor for avoiding postpartum depression.

What do I mean by Christian Birth Education?

No, it’s not an in-depth study of birth in the Bible.

No, it’s not spiritualising every aspect of birth.

No, it’s not me telling you “Christians should/shouldn’t hire a private obstetrician, have a homebirth, get the vitamin K injection”, or whatever else.

As any serious childbirth educator should, I present you with evidence-based information, and YOU make the decisions which are right for your family.

But that evidence-based information is seen through the lens of Biblical truth, where God is the creator of life and the designer of our bodies and of birth. Most birth courses will acknowledge that birth is a holistic experience - mind, body and spirit. But only a Christian birth course will give the Christian viewpoint on the spiritual aspect.

You won’t catch me calling you a “goddess” because of your incredible ability to birth your baby. You will catch me marvelling over how life in the womb is “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14), and over how amazingly God has designed our bodies to bear children and give birth. You won’t catch me directing you to fertility deities or the full moon. You will catch me encouraging you to stop trying to do it all in your own strength, but rather to “stop and consider the wondrous works of God” (Job 37:14) and his design for birth.

I don’t believe that you need to have a specific type of birth to have an amazing birth, because birth is inherently amazing! But I do believe that God has given us the tools to understand birth and has made us responsible for the choices we make for ourselves and our babies. So we need to get in there, study, learn, prepare our bodies and minds, and line up practical support.

And above all, we need to remember that as Christians we can trust that God has everything under control and “we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength!”
